I'm a retired medical professional and can honestly say that if I need care in the future, I will travel for it. EMH and Haggin Hospital are by far the worst I've encountered. Unprofessional staff (nurse and doctors especially), unorganized and unknowledgeable. A circus without the benefit of entertainment.

Did not have a good experience with the ER there I am in a wheelchair so they had to transfer me from my chair to the bed one of the nurses there said Have ever heard of an ambulance? I said what doI need an ambulance for she said because it would have made a lot easier on her and the rest of the staff to not have to do that. She should be thankful she has a job. And if she doesn't like what she is doing then she needs to get another job. An ambulance is expensive than the transit bus. I'm not made of money. She was rude but... read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. My elderly father had to be admitted to the ER following an EKG. I have been in many emergency rooms, either for myself, family members, or someone else and have never seen anything so dirty and disgusting. The walls were completely dirty. Things were taped to the wall. The floor had not even been swept or mopped. There was dust and dirt under the bed on the back shelf. The chair was dirty and ripped. I did not even sit down the entire time that he was in there. This really should be a health ... read more

Coming here to write a review, years later but gave birth to my first child here. It was the worst experience I ever had. I have had children after being here and never realized how God awful they truly are. I was scared and young and they had no empathy for me, acting like my labor pain was invalid. They didn't want to be patient and rushed me into a C-section without proper medication, even when I was dilating on time. Which ruined my chances of ever giving natural birth. I felt wayyy more than I should've and when I tried... read more

While my mom was in the ICU, she started grabbing her chest and mouthing that she was having trouble breathing, went to go tell a nurse and was told to go back to the room before I could even say anything, the day before a respiratory therapist named pauletta started talking crap about my mom, saying she couldn't possibly be in any pain and that she just wanted more drugs, another nurse named kayla kept getting an attitude, saying the same thing as the respiratory therapist, if I could get her transferred to a different hosp... read more
