Enviroguard is not an honest company. In July, one of their salespeople came to my house and sold their service. I live on the ********** and we have a ton of outside bugs. Initial price was $100 with a monthly fee of $116. Sounded like a good deal, but I asked if there was a contract and if I could cancel at any time. We've had 2 quarterly treatments so far and are not at all satisfied with their service. I didn't realize it was a 1 yr contract as I believe we were told no contract or cancel anytime. Set that aside, a $200 cancelation fee for unsatisfactory service? I said "Really? Is that how you want to play it? I can leave negative reviews if you wish" . **************** lady didn't budge, she didn't care. Ants inside and around perimeter 2 weeks after treatment and flies were not affected. Plenty of them. We had a salesman come to the house and tell us that it was a special promotion for a one time service for $50. Didn't realize it was a contract for a year. Then I get a bill for $55 the next month and when I called because there was no service performed, they said it is a bi-monthly application with monthly billing. What kind of c*** is this!!!! DO NOT use EnviroGuard Pest Control to kill bugs, insects, etc.. It does NOT work. Home video shows Envirogaurd Tech spraying house and shop but not the yard. The price for spraying the yard is in the total amount owed. I told them that the tech did not spray the yard and they are still trying to make me pay the entire amount. They even added a late fee. Im pretty sure we are being scammed. They do not accept cash. I paid with a card and now three times a week I am receiving texts and emails saying we did not pay and to use a link to make a payment before we incur a late fee. My bank statement shows we did pay. And on top of that we have fireants for the first time ever. I have destroyed five beds myself in the two weeks since they came here. Im sure that is anecdotal, but I stand by me belief that this is a scam.
Wish I would have read these reviews before I did business with this company. The first three services were great then it went downhill fast after that. We have chickens in our back yard and when I received a text that they would be out to treat my yard the fourth time, I agreed on the date and time, after agreeing, I got called in on a job and couldnt be there for the treatment. they scam you into a year contract without even telling you! they're product doesnt even do anythting. if you want out they make you pay. do not do business with them.
