Had an ultrasound done on July 3rd and I have yet to hear from the Dr. or his nurse to discuss my results. I’ve called and left 3 voice pin the last week and still have not heard back. Very frustrating because I’m in pain.

It pains me to write this because I love Dr. Burmeister. He is a fantastic doctor with incredible bedside manner. He has been so wonderful with my son. Unfortunately his office staff is going to ruin his reputation and his practice. I have dealt with their communication issues and dropping the ball for over six years. My son is facing his fourth ear surgery with them, and I just can’t do it anymore. I had 2 procedures done on my vocal cords and they only made the problem worse. No follow up on referrals to speech therapy our neurology, I could talk some when I went there, now I can hardly speak at all.I should have gone to Iowa City in the first place.
I waited until everyone before my arrival was called back plus two before asking receptionist why I was still waiting. She said I was scheduled for a hearing test. I said I have hearing aids why do I need a hearing test? She looked up my records, found I last had a test in April, and asked doctor if test was necessary. She came back to say the test was not necessary and I would be called. I waited another 20 minutes to be called and led to a hearing test booth.
