We get transport more than 45 miles to show up and they tell her she is discharged from pain management because she can provide a urine sample!! This staff has been rude and inconsiderate every visit for the last year! Always stating the doctor is not a pain management doctor!!! I understand the rules but the lack of concern for making a 77 yo lady pay for transport to not even been seen by the doctor! No advanced notice no phone call! This show a total lack of concern for patient care!!!
After seeing many doctors for YEARS, I finally felt seen and heard by Dr. Mendez! I am so grateful that I insisted on a referral to him. I feel like he truly cares and will advocate for his patients. His staff is also wonderful.
I was referred to this doctor by Judy at Center for Orthopedics for pain management. This was a completely unnecessary referral and a waste of my time and this doctors time. We were made to wait for 45 minutes while he returned from his own doctors appointment. When he walked in the door was not fully closed and left open for the entire practice and other patients be able to easily hear about my medical issues. I saw Dr. Mendez back in 2020. He is awful. Prescribed narcotics when I told him I didn't want them bc they just mask the pain. Told me I didn't have lupus when I was diagnosed in 2003. Discharged me from his clinic bc I was an opiate risk, REALLY?? Now I'm trying to request my medical records and all of his offices he practices out of cant seem to find my medical records.
