Dr. Hernandez always rushed through appointments that we had with him. This is probably because he is so over booked that he does not have time to spend with a patient. He has never spent more that 3 minutes in the room with us before he is running into the next room. I find him to be napoleonesque when he is questioned on a diagnosis. His Location is small, messy & over crowded. His staff will pick up and hang up the phone when they are busy forcing patients to have to call numerous times.
Long wait, does not return calls or anwer phone. Waiting for test results for my child who he is "very concerned about" for 5 weeks. Can't refill a prescription because no one will answer phone.
Dr. Hernández is a great doctor, but his staff is another story. They waited until I took my daughter to her appointment to tell me they no longer accepted her insurance! And the manager called me the night before to confirm the appointment! My appointment was at 8:30am and either the doctor or the manager were there to face me after making me lose almost 2 hours of work! They don't care and it wasn't the first time I had problems with the staff. Sucks that such a good doctor has so bad support.
Waited over an hour to see the doctor on more than one occasion. Never returned my call when I tried to follow up on the lack of results with the medication he prescribed.
He is a wonderful doctor and has provided excellent care for my son.
Can't say much about the doctor himself because he is never available. Office is too busy; there are never openings for appointments, no one ever answers the phones and/or calls back. My baby has had difficulties eating for 2.5 months now and I haven't received much help at all from this practice. Very disappointed.
This is one of the most caring, thorough and competent physicians I have ever consulted for my children.
Dr. Hernandez found the right combination of medicine to get our 15-year-old daughter into remission and when the insurance company decided not to cover the medicine anymore, Dr. Hernandez and his staff appealed and won. This doctor cares about his patients and he and his staff make the office visit as pleasant as possible for their young patients by their loving care. We were on the wait list to get into the practice but it was worth the wait.
