I noticed the negative reviews for this clinic but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a doctor's office. While Dr. Janice Lam is clearly knowledgeable, she lacks patience and basic empathy. During my Pap smear, she was unable to collect a sample immediately and became noticeably aggressive, audibly sighing multiple times. DR. BORNSTEIN IS VERY THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PERSONABLE. I NEVER FELT LIKE I WAS BEING RUSHED DURING MY ANNUAL PHYSICAL AND I WAS ENCOURAGED TO VOICE ANY CONCERNS I HAD. I HAVE ALWAYS TRUSTED DR. BORNSTEIN'S JUDGEMENT OVER THE MANY YEARS I HAVE BEEN HIS PATIENT AND I WOULD MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
As a result of their incompetence I developed a stomach infection. I was sick for about a year with this. The antibiotic that cured the stomach infection was $344. Also they refused to fix my CT imaging requisition that never went through. Mackenzie hospital never received your fax. I was on the their waiting list for a family doctor. It's been years now and they never gave me one or would tell me where I was on the list. Thank God though. On top of that, they didn't seem to like I didn't use their pharmacy.
