If you had told me yesterday I would be writing a negative review for this company, I wouldn’t have believed you. Because all the staff, minus one person, that came to the house were phenomenal! And that is not an overstatement. As of this morning (6/23/2026), I cannot now recommend this company in good conscience. I will attempt to explain this very shortly why. 1. Poor leadership. Refused to accommodate patient requirements of scheduling in Advance and no later than 7pm on nights prior to therapy. Caregiver Continuously had to make calls Weekly to find out schedule. Do Not Ever Use! They have lost their Best therapists because of their archaic schedule release. Always after 5pm on Sunday evenings, leaving the therapists, nursing staff No time to spend with their Own families... But scheduling Monday visits. Encompass Home Health has been a wonderful experience for in house health care for my husband the last two months. In the past we have had bad experiences, so much so that we have refused home health services. My husband, Harold, who is a disabled veteran, was hospitalized for six weeks with severe Covid pneumonia. I had no choice but to accept in home nurses and physical therapy service’s. I am so thankful for Encompass Health! What a wonderful group of people Harold and I have been blessed to have come to take care of him.... read more
Our experience with Encompass Home Health has been wonderful. They have provided nursing, PT, OT, and Speech therapy for my loved one, and all of their clinicians have been very caring and knowledgeable of their field. We highly recommend them.
