If I could I would give this company ZERO STARS! Absolutely the worst hospice company. This wasn’t an easy process watching my mother transition. They lack of care and frustration they shown was disgusting and very distasteful. The lack of communication between the after hours line, nurses and drs were horrible. My mom hated these “nurses” & I did too. They were unprofessional in more than one way. They showed no sympathy. My great aunt had a wound that she had for over 3 years and Encompass nurse healed it completely.
This is a late review but better late than never. They don’t have adequate staffing. My mom needed a speech therapist for cognitive deficits and some swallowing issues. This branch manager tried to send an OT out to see my mom. I understand the difference between the two disciplines but the branch director and Russ were adamant that the OT can do the same thing as the SLP which is not accurate.
