World-class physician who treats his patients with warmth and excellent care. Highly knowledgeable gastroenterologist who also is my primary care physician and my wife’s. He allows sufficient time during exams for explaining data, results and answering questions with as much specificity as a patient desires. His supportive and focused staff at both the office and same-day surgery center (for such procedures as colonoscopies) complement his superior practice. We highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Sapienza and his staff at Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy were AMAZING! This is the first procedure I have ever had so I was understandably nervous, but the nursing staff put me at ease throughout the whole process. As for Dr. Sapienza- I cannot say enough good things about him. He is the most kind and compassionate physician I have ever met, he was able to any fears I had prior to the procedure. That along with his extensive knowledge will keep me going back to him as a patient time and time again

I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy done by Dr. Sapienza at Northern NJ Center for Advanced Endoscopy in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The place was really nice and the staff was great. I was nervous when I got to the place and everyone including Dr. Sapienza put me aease. Thank you.

Dr Mark Sapienza is a very special Doctor. We met him about 8 years ago at Englewood Emergency where he started treating my husband for a very serious Esophageal Bleed in 13 places. He truly cares about his patients and never makes you feel rushed. Due to his excellent care my husband is still with us.
