We have been going to the Yacht Club for years. We love it! Just don't expect really fancy rooms and good wifii. Do expect a relaxing atmosphere, incredible sunsets and sunrises, and quiet beaches with tiny waves most of the time. The water is often clear enough to see your toes and can be really warm (if not hot) if you go in the summer. The thing to do is search for pre-historic sharks teeth at the beach and just relax. There are many great local restaurants in the area including the White Elephant and Geraldis as well. If... read more

My home away from home, for a perfect vacation all you got to do is come and stay with us, believe me you won't regret it. I traded in there twice before I finally bought. The location, the staff , the weather, all makes for a great vacation. I live on the east coast of Florida, and I vacation at the Englewood Beach and Yacht Club on the West Coast, let me ask you who's got it better than me?

We had a bay view. Loved the screened lanai. Sat out and listened to the band which was nearby. Across the street to the gulf. Beach chairs available at no charge. Great sunset opportunity. Saw dolphins jumping. Lots of shells and sharks teeth. Easy access to restaurants and retail seafood. Everything well maintained and the staff was very accommodating. Loved it!!

Great place. You can fish and listen to the bands at the bars at the same time. Fun place to stay.

Being on the top floor(when ramp stops and stairs begin) makes it difficult to unpack car. I always liked my end room terrace so I can look out at the canal and see the goings on. Trees are too high now and block my view. The location for all restaurants beach etc is excellent and staff is friendly. But the stairs are a killer! Love my room as always. Coming here over 5 years and trees were an issue this time. I miss my view of the water boats and . Let's see how next year is.
