I LOVE Encore! The biggest problem I have there is finding too much! The salespeople are all very knowledgeable and helpful, which is important to me. I hate going to places where the salespeople have no clue about their inventory or policies or can offer no advice. Great place to shop!

I used to shop at Encore, but never again will I, if I could post directly to their page I would so that more could see my comments. Encore advertised for help, my 16 yr old transgender grandchild tried to apply in person but was told that they only need evening help, and that they weren't interested in hiring school age help because they'd need to be replaced come August. I replied by email to the name given to explain the situation. She had stated with the fist issue, that she was the one I spoke with. Yes, we are hiring but it is not for evening shifts due to the fact we close at 5pm everyday except Thursday. Just not an ideal situation for students looking for employment. We do sometimes require additional weekend help during prom season (Jan-May) but not at this time.
I have always loved this store, and I usually recommend it to help out local businesses. But my sister went up there to try to get a job and got denied because she identifies as a boy. That was blatant discrimination, and I will stop recommending this place.
Love this store....great finds and awesome prices...!!!
