My husband spent 2 weeks at Encompass Health for a functional boost. He has Huntington's disease when affects his strength & balance. The therapy he received there was outstanding. They were very encouraging, which he greatly needed. The staff, especially Amy Torres, was fantastic. They treated him, and our family, with utmost courtesy and were very responsive to answer all of our questions. The facility is immaculate and he even liked the food. A 10+++++ experience

Thank you for the wonderful care provided to my 97 year old Mother.  Everyone was so supportive and provided her with the care needed, to be able to return home.  A special thank you to Candace and Aubree, her PT and OT, for motivating her to work hard In therapy, showing her how to safely navigate independently, and encouraging her to succeed.

Encompass is top notch! They did a wonderful job with the rehabilitation for my 92 year old mother.. They are caring and loving and empathetic.! They took excellent care of her and watch till like a hawk .. and the caseworker is excellent to do a wonderful job on transferring.. I highly recommend this place.! God Bless To All Of The entire staff! I’m thankful & very grateful! 🩵Josephine

Best Place Ever they took very good care of my 92-year-old mother it’s clean. They have empathy and loving and caring environment and the caseworker was on target.. rehabilitation was absolutely top-notch there. I can’t think the team enough at Encompass… God bless to them all .

The place is clean and staff friendly. There are a few 'howevers' in the story. 1. My husband should not had been accepted because he would not meet the criteria for rehab. While I kept asking about this (while in the hospital before being transferred) ... I was told to not worry about it. 2. After 4 days discussions turned to how my husband could not stay at the facility because he was unable to meet criteria for rehab, was unable to be controlled, etc. (exactly what I was saying before they agreed to take him) 3. Horrible place. This is my 3rd experience with Encompass and the third time is not the charm. I wouldnt place anyone in this facility!!!

The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis (TRISL) is the place to have your loved ones if they need specific kinds of rehabilitation.  The care and therapy my mom received here was nothing short of wonderful.  In no time she was up and around, getting back to a routine that was normal to her.  Showering, using the restroom, talking on her phone, etc., all independently.  Not only did mom receive awesome care and therapy, so did we as a family.  We were updated and kept abreast of all progress.  Our questions were answered wi... read more

Best Rehabilitation facility in Shreveport! I entered Encompass the day after by hip surgery. Spent 10 days working with the PT"s, OT's, Nurses and helpers. All were very professional pushing me to my limits daily. The team is extremely professional. I am now on my 16th day and using home therapy with virtually no pain. I highly recommend Encompass for all your rehab needs. Thank you Encompass team!
