Wonderful, caring staff!! All the professional team works well together to help you be the best you can be. Very experienced Therapist and it’s fun to be in the gym. Don’t let the age of the facility turn you away. It is well maintained and the grounds are gorgeous. The best part is , if they have extra beds available, your spouse can share the room with you and and they provide guest trays - all at no charge. Love the place so far. The staff really tries to accommodate,therapy is helping and the food is good.
Health South is more than just a place to go for rehabilitation. I made one phone call and an admissions nurse was sent out and he was transported within 3 hours. The staff does everything in their power to make you feel at home and comfortable while focusing on you gaining your ability to do things safely and independent. During my loved ones last night there I accidentally pushed the code blue button while trying to turn off the call light for nursing...AND ALL I HEARD WAS FOOTSTEPS � HEADED TO OUR ROOM. I think they're wonderful couldn't ask for better nurses or techs or therepy I have had a couple of miracleous things happen last Saturday I couldn't move my left arm I had started coming back but then my left arm drew up @ I couldn't move anything but my fingers @ after a session wth this gentleman I don't know his name @ Kerra I could raise my left arm into the air it was a miracle what she did I tell you it was then a couple of days ago she @ Tim was working on my neck @ he did something that stopped my head from hurting ... read more
