We have nothing but good words for everyone here. They all have been outstanding employees with a caring, loving heart. It was clean, the food was very good. And if you needed anything they were on it very quickly. The receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. They are sending me home with with things to help me in my daily life. Excellent care throughout my stay. Staff took great care of me and was always there when I needed them. My PT,OT were exceptional (Wendy and Shelby went above and beyond more than I expected. I would highly recommend Encompass for therapy. Thank you for being there..
My husband was a patient here for 13 days August of 2025. He had previously recently been in 2 other area rehab facilities which both provided poor care to him. We were so pleasantly surprised by everything at Encompass. From the minute you walk in the front door to the minute he left everything was so much better than his previous experiences in rehab. This is the worst rehabilitation hospital! My mom was here for 10 days after hip surgery and there were a few good nurses ( Camilla, you were amazing) . Kim, case manager- rude, inconsiderate, no empathy, and absolutely no compassion for patient or family and seemed to enjoy talking down to me. Melissa, charge nurse- very annoyed if you asked her any question and actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked her about my mom’s physical therapy: told me I would have to wait to find out on family night like everyone else! We had the best experience with Encompass Rehabilitation Shelby County. Everyone was so caring and kind and the therapists were amazing and so good with my 94 year old mother. Truly, such a great experience and I would recommend this particular location because of its wonderful staff.
