Dr. Salazar was referred to me by a good friend who is a dental hygienist. She strongly recommended Dr. James Salazar. He took his time, was an excellent communicator about my dental health, did a very indept exam & explained everything he saw clearly. I would highly recommend him! Staff was very professional & helpful. Loved the office, it was so spotless!
Great cleaning experience. Learned ways to improve cleaning process. Very comfortable and relaxing, without any discomfort.
My recent appointment involved a cleaning, X-Rays and an exam. Dr. Salazar noticed a slight change in my teeth alignment (that I had not noticed) and immediately planned a strategy to fix it. He is a perfectionist in the best possible way....always wanting the best care for his patients! I am 69 years young and want to have healthy teeth for life. With Dr. Salazar by my side, I know that will happen!

Dr. Schreiner cleaned and examined my teeth yesterday at Purely Dental Encinitas and I can say that she is the best. Her skill and gentle touch was much appreciated. I always love getting my teeth cleaned and they feel great. Great office!!!!
Dr. Salazar was very thorough and detailed. His work was gentle and he seemed to really be present and take care and consideration during the work. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone possibly looking for a new or better dental experience.
My family has been going to the same dentist for over 15 years and our regular dentist retired. We were lucky enough to get to know Jim and Marnie. Now I and my two boys are there new clients. We love their office their staff and both dentist so now we will be there new loyal clients. I feel it's super important to feel comfortable, and we were. Happy to say they will now be our family's dentist!!!
I am 11 years old and Dr Schreiner cleaned my teeth today. She was so gentle and kind and explained everything she was doing so I wasn't scared at all. I recently had braces put on and worried how they would clean my teeth and if it would hurt but it did not hurt at all and I think it because Dr Schreiner is so gentle and really cares about her patients.
