Very poor service, dirty tables, and a low sanitation score. I would not recommend to anyone.
I am a very frequent visitor and the service this time was beyond being able to go back. We waited 45 minutes following finishing our meal for the check. There were only 2 table seated the entire time we were there. The server was running food, working the bar and trying to wait tables, none of which she completed well.
RecommendedI have been visiting Emzy weekly for a many months now and I would recommend it to anyone. The service is always phenomenal, the bartender is quick to smile and kind despite being the only server, not to mention very knowledgeable about the menu and drink selections. The food has always been excellent and prepared in a reasonable time. The specials are also very good; I would recommend a trip any time you are uptown and looking for quality sushi.

The food is good, not the service. For To Go orders, they start charging for hot sauce which is complimentary for dine in. Why?
Great prices, great food, beautiful ambiance Love the many sushi options in both cooked and raw sushi. Hot meals are deliscious. Only complaint is that food takes awhile to come out. Used to start girls night out with dinner and coctails there, took pops there for fathers day and now family loves going for special occasions.
The food was great as well as the service . A great meal for reasonable price. The wait staff was friendly and personable.
I loved the Kim chi fried rice n the rolls! The ambience is also nice n near to my office location!
I do try to find positives in the places I visit. This place has great potential. Very dated. And I will say very dirty. Why is there crap on the floor? Why are there food stains resembling blood on the wall next to me? Why is our waiter angry with Zero personality? Why is the hostess wearing a sweat shirt with NIKE in big letters?
