Empyrean Tattoo is amazing! The level of talent, the cleanliness of the shop, and the friendliness of the staff: I cannot say enough great things about this place.
I had Mike cover a 20 yr old tattoo on my back. He was VERY patient with me, even after I emailed him several pictures of different Phoenix birds. He brought me his drawing the day we to start and again was very understanding when I kept saying "not a big enough tail". I had to move my second appointment up a week due to my family vacation and the office staff were able to move things around for me. After following Mike's work for the past few years, I finally bit the bullet and went in for my first consult for my back tattoo. Nervous as I was and totally fan girling, Mike was cool and nice and really worked to understand my motivation for the piece and worked to transform my haphazard ideas into an amazing, cohesive concept. Definitely looking forward to spending many an hour in his chair in the future!
I could not explain more how much I appreciate Mike's eye and vision. He listens well and because of it he creates flawless pieces. Best tattoo experience ever.
Wouldn't waste money or time gettin inked anywhere other than here.

Mike McMahon is an incredibly talented, imaginative, and creative artist. He did my entire back piece and the whole process was amazing. He listened to my concept and then used his knowledge and experience to make a tattoo that I'm totally in love with. The level of skill and artistry is top-notch.
