Going to sit by the pool is a great option. If you don't want to go to the beach, only $10 an entry fee. Music is fantastic. Bars are open
I just returned from a week on vacation at the Empress Hotel and it was perfect as usual. I stay there every year sometimes twice for a week. It’s always clean and the staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. JP the handyman they have on staff there who can pretty much fix anything was particularly helpful for an issue I had with the room safe. The Empress staff deserve all the greatest credit. The security team is amazing and helpful and they do an amazing job. The front desk and housekeeping staff are on it and efficient. The bar staff is fun and take great care of everyone. The rooms are great overall (clean, comfortable, spacious). If I were to give the hotel some suggestions it would be: 1. I really enjoyed my stay! The location is perfect(Literally across the street from pretty much anywhere you wanna hang out in Asbury and the beach)! The staff were incredibly understanding & friendly(Especially the two ladies who worked at the front desk in the daytime)! The rooms are a bit outdated though, and the AC didn't work great. I had an Ocean view which was great, But the balcony door is incredibly heavy and hard to open, and the outside door handle is broken, So it makes it very hard to actually use the balcony!!
