I had a consultation that didn’t identify my problem, so I decided to cancel my subscription. I contacted the company on October 7th, and they told me that I could only cancel after returning the ring. However, no one has been able to provide me with the address where I should send it. Today, another $500 was charged to my card, and I still haven’t received a response from the company with the return address. Even the employees don’t seem to know it. I feel lost and disappointed.

When I was choosing between Empower Sleep and a more standard, mail-in one-night sleep study to test for OSA, I went with Empower. I figured it might offer a better experience — and maybe insurance would cover part of it. It didn’t. I’m lucky I was able to afford it out of pocket, but it was expensive. I was relieved to learn that I don’t have sleep apnea. I learned about Empower Sleep from my Functional Medicine doctor. I didn’t think a ‘normal’ sleep test would suit me because I don’t sleep well away from home and a clinical setting wouldn’t suit me. After talking to Dr. Chopra on the first visit, I was a little more amenable to the sleep study since I could do it at home.
