I had Empire come give me an estimate on some floors at my new house. I showed the sales rep photos of the style i was looking for and he kept showing me different styles, which was very annoying. But the reason for the 1 star review, is they were supposed to only run my credit to see how much i would qualify for the 0% financing, and instead they opened a new credit card in my name without my permission and I had to call Wells Fargo to fix which will take 30 days. The price and the ultimate carpet were exactly what we wanted. How we got there was a journey. They canceled insulation 2 time. One because of an imperfection in the roll and a second time because it rained that morning. In both case it was frustrating because they put you back in the installation que another 2 weeks out. It took 6 weeks to get our carpet installed. They are an extremely large company with layers of customer service reps who called every day, over and over all with the same message.
