The in home salesman basically lied. First of all, it wasn't ok having my young children in the home during installation. They ripped up the entire first floor all at once. Terrible experience keeping young children basically in their bedrooms all day. Now, not even 16 months after installation I can not get a small issue fixed without paying. To my face I was told if there are any issues to just give a call n they will take care of it. Definitely not worth the price or the headache.
Had several rooms get new carpet and my livingroom go from hardwood (lamanet) to carpet. They didn't remove the hardwood which raised the carpet higher than the surrounding floors and won't last. Several weeks now of phone calls and pictures and nothing has been done to fix their mistake.

I got the lower end carpet bc of our budget, and it’s fine! It’s for 2 small rooms and it is soft - no complaints. Sales person was kind and helpful. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is bc the installers tried to take a short cut. When they were done and asked me to look- in both rooms - the closet- all they had was a rectangle of carpet- not tacked down, no pad. It literally just lifted up. I am very happy with Empire and my floor turned out so beautiful! I was surprised because there were some old negative reviews. But every single appointment happened just as scheduled and the installation went just as the salesperson explained that it would. Everyone was super polite. I would have like to have larger samples to choose from and more photos of the color I chose, but I had done my homework and had color swatches to compare to and we nailed it.
