Empire should only be used to measure your carpet needs in order to shop others more accurately. Their prices were insane until I spent a considerable amount of time trying to minimize the cost. They ended up dropping from $13K to $6,900. Their financing was great on 48months however. We ended up paying $5300 cash at Carpet Outlet plus for a much much nicer pad (memory foam with dual moisture layer) and about the same carpet. I moved into Bakersfield couple of months ago. It took me awhile to befriend myself with the neighbors because they weren't very welcoming! Anyway, later on when they got to know me everything was like a different story. I was rushed by the job and I had not time for anything, even for proper food.
