We arrived in Breckenridge late on Sunday evening, 8/9/15. We had our eighr-yr-old daughter with us, who was overtired and very homesick for her dog. We needed a quick bite to eat, close to our hotel. I was a little leery about taking our daughter into this noisy, crowded place because she doesn't typically do well in those situations. Wondered all over town today and had to go check out Empire. Great green chili burger and the onion rings were awesome. One of the top burgers I've had in my quest for the best burger.
Out of all the places I've had in Colorado, this is by far my favorite. Great service, great food, and for a great price. Now all you need to do is make one of these in Kansas City, MO.

This restaurant has horrible service. More time spent on chatting with the staff and locals stopping by than on their tables. No care for the needs at our table and charged a gratuity charge which is illegal!
