I went to get a haircut at this place, and a guy named César, who they call “Chino.” I asked him not to cut the length. He didn’t cut the length of my hair, but by thinning it out, he took off about 80% of my hair. I had been taking care of my hair for over a year, keeping it long because of my wedding. And now my wedding is in two weeks, and it doesn’t look anything like it did before thanks to him cutting my hair badly. I’m considering suing him.
Been coming here to see Jared Frank for a while now and he is fantastic. He worked some miracles with my unruly cowlick and a previous bad haircut. Great haircuts, friendly, and easy to schedule. The vibe is friendly and laid back as well. Great addition to the neighborhood!
Barbershop looks different from the pic (has been renovated) and is nice. David got me right, will definitely see him again.
Fermin at Empire Barbers is a true artist! I’ve had many haircuts in my 33 years, but this was by far the best. With just a simple explanation, he nailed exactly what I wanted — and even elevated it with his own expert advice. He took his time, added thoughtful extras like shampoo and conditioning, and made the whole experience feel top-tier. Super approachable, great energy, and his smile is contagious. I’ll definitely be coming back every two weeks — thank you for slaying my hair, Fermin!
Great barber shop, makes me feel very welcomed everytime I there. Been in LA for over 2 years and finally landed a barber that knows how to cut to perfection. He remembers my haircut everytime so i never have to explain. Check him out if your in Hollywood!!
