RecommendedI have always had great experience with Empeys. They are always my first stop for car problems.
Very pleased with the service received on my 13 yr old car. Kept informing me throughout the day what was going on and asked if they should proceed.
they are good people. I have been very satisfied with their work.
Got a transmission put in. Started having issues. They checked the fluid twice and did a diagnostics. Drove it and confirmed the issues. They told me they would call me back and never did. Went to another mechanic and the other mechanic found Empey's didn't put the seal in for the transmission filter and it was 3 quarts low on fluid. I will never go back and I'm disgusted at the poor excuse for customer service. They just wanted my money. They should have stepped up and checked things out, but instead charged me to diagnose ... read more
I have two decades old vehicles and Empeys keep them running better than new.
On a road trip across country, came into town for an unexpected medical emergency for my Mom. While she was being stabilized (stressful by itself), I started hearing some strange noises on our car, and felt the brakes chatter on steep downhills (added stress). Empey's name came as a recommendation from one of the hospital volunteers. I took the car to them, and not only did they diagnose the problem, they gave me a loaner car so I could still attend to my Mom, and then they fixed our car quickly so we could get back on the r... read more
Excellent service....reasonable pricing...nice folks to work with.
These people are not ethical, or honest. I was given a quote of 100-250 for my brakes and charged $576.00. Originally over 600 and as I questioned as to why it was so high, a fellow employee, upon hearing what work was done stated. "He's right, that sounds high" Buyer beware they'll rip you off!!!
