Tried to make appt with doctor I researched. Got pushed to accept new person.
Extremely frustrating billing experience being seen at Emory Eye Center on 5671 Location. Emory’s website states that Amerigroup Georgia Medicaid is accepted, and my daughter was seen by Dr. Andrew Fischer at Emory Eye on 9/30/2025. I later found out through Avesis (the third-party administrator for Amerigroup Medicaid vision claims) that although the provider may be contracted, I was informed by Avesis there may have been credentialing/network issues related to the specific location since it was reportedly not in network wh... read more
I had good experience and doctors were great. I got my prescription and contacts, no any delays
I have chronic dry eyes. Took a lot to get referral to go there. Then they made me wait an hour and a half (would have been two hours if I hadn’t complained; I asked and they said that’s their normal wait time). Finally see doctor and she tells me to use more OTC eye drops more often. SMH If you have dry eyes, save your time and money and see an optometrist that specializes in dry eyes instead.
I felt it was important to give my opinion regarding this center. From the moment we walked into the Emory Eye Center, we were treated very well. Ms. Kamala at the front desk was extremely attentive and willing to help. Then we met with Dr. Fischer, a young man (it's a shame I didn't learn his name), very diligent, helpful, and very kind.
