Google search indicated that the lab was open until 5:30 PM. However, when we arrived at 5:20 PM, the desk clerk yelled from her desk, preventing us from entering. She claimed that the sign on the door stated that the location was open until 5:15 PM only. We explained that we had a sample to drop off, and the specimen would go bad if we didn’t get it in before then. Despite our explanation, she proceeded to close the door on us. Quick, easy, and painless.
Although I have several other laboratory options, I consistently choose the Emory Medical Lab on Clifton Road. The lab’s techs and staff consistently exhibit a positive and professional demeanor. When I initially visited the lab several years ago, I believed it was solely due to the exceptional attitude and bedside manner of one individual. However, since then, I have had the opportunity to interact with several young ladies, and they all uphold high standards and possess a strong sense of worth.
Less than one star is needed. What a rip off. Missing work, extra travel, bills for two separate services. I'm definitely getting a different insurance company ASAP.
