I gave two stars because there are a few staff members here that really do care. My mom was here almost a month and my family were very hands on and stayed every night with her. I’m just going to say this, there are nurses there that don’t want you questioning their job. My mom had to be turned every 2 hours, when I told the nurse that my mom had not been turned.. the nurse got upset, asked me why I wasn’t helping, why I was just now saying something and why I wasn’t working. The nurse 3 hours later called the security offic... read more

My brother has been here close to one month and they've given him VIP treatment they got him off the breathing machine and he's actually saying some words. The facility is always very very clean the nurses doctors and staff are very nice and have treated my brother like royalty. I recommend this place for someone going through severe medical problems and they want peace of mind of going to a good place knowing that their family member will get good treatment! Thank you so much Emery long-term acute care for the wonderful med... read more

My husband was brought here with the objective of liberating him from the ventilator. The experience was horrific - I had to constantly remind them of the need to try again, they did nothing to support or encourage him. This was during Covid and I had to leave at 9 pm each night. He couldn’t speak due to vent, but was able to write messages to me. He would be unable to breathe at night, press the “call” button, only to be yelled at thru the speaker asking “what he needed”. This, to a man who couldn’t speak! One night, in dis... read more

Please do not leave your love one here alone. The nurses and techs do not care really with an exception of a few. If you have Amora, Roz,Shanque or Bintu as a nurse your love one is in good hands. If you have Aria, Mo, Tenisha, Darcella or Lorna as a tech also in good hands. You will have to advocate daily and speak with supervisors often. Very blessed my husband was not in critical condition when transferred here, but I did not leave him alone. If it were not for the people I named, there would be no stars given. Facility n... read more

DON’T SEND YOUR LOVE-ONE HERE!!! Our family regrets having my dad transferred to this hospital. The care has been inconsistent and mostly poor attentiveness by staff leaving us to ensure a family member is with him at all times. The experience has been very distressing.
