I visited Dr Alder today and have never felt so unheard. I went to urgent care and was referred to podiatry for plantar fasciitis. I followed their steps and have been getting better every day. I called Emory Podiatry to schedule an appointment. The next available opening they had was a month out, so that's what I took. A month later I arrive for my appointment and they tell me the appointment has been cancelled bc the doctor I was seeing was not in the office that day. I was told "we tried to leave you a voicemail". I checked my voicemail box and it was only 40% full. I asked if they sent me an email, updated my MyChart, or tried to call me more than once.
