Yesterday morning I checked into the Emory Crawford Long Emergency Department at 5:35 a.m. as I was in a lot of pain. The service and treatment I received at your hospital was worse than deplorable. To begin with, I had to perform my own vaginal swab. I was given two sterile toothpicks with cotton on the end and a clear tube containing saline with a black top and was escorted to the restroom to perform the swab. A very nice hospital with a "Wonderful Information Receptionist Dona" who wished everyone who passed by a Happy New Year.
The ER was a nightmare. We were there from 2:30pm-12:30am before my mom got a bed. The staff was great but if I ever have an emergency again I will not come to Emory Hospital Midtown.
There is no way I can begin to describe how awesome the staff at the Winship has been. From the reception staff , to the nurses, the radiation therapist,the social worker, the drs, even the vallet. Every single person there was friendly and compassionate towards me and everyone who came with me for treatments. I could not recommended a better place. The smiling faces there brighten your day. Thank you again to everyone there.
I hate this hospital. I pressed the nurse button & it took over 20min to come & check on me while I was having an asthma attack. I had to use my own inhalers. Then a few hours later I pressed the nurse button bc I had to use the restroom but I was hooked up on the machine it took them almost 25min to come AFTER one of the head Unit Director Ms. Wright walked in. My granddaughter had dental surgery at this facility yesterday. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and compassionate. She was in recovery room for about two hours, and the nurses and doctors were extremely helpful and showed concern at all times. I felt she was in excellent hands, and we would go back here, if needed. Thank you all for the excellent care my granddaughter, Rebecca Simmons, received.
I just people to know to be mindful of your privacy while visiting any Hospital. It doesn't matter if it is this one or not, be careful. There are staff members there at this facility that will share your information in your face that is not on a need to know basis. Please Be Ware. I'm am working on some things to resolve this issue right now. Be blessed and I'm praying that you will never experience this. If you do, don't be afraid to speak up. Speak up....
Emory University Hospital Heart & Vascular Center is the greatest!!!! Thank GOD for Dr. Faisal Merchant and Dr. Monog they performed my procedure with ease. I am grateful for Dr. Faisal Merchant finding and fixing the problem. Grateful to have wonderful nurses, and one that I know Carles Kirby. Awesome hospital great nurses. Have been here 7 days this month and the nurses on the Uruology floor are wonderful
