I would like to weigh in on this office, having had a visit with Dr. James Duffy. I was very impressed about how I was attended by very friendly, professionals at all levels — reception, practioners, X-ray & Dr. Duffy. I felt welcome to ask questions and get answers in a clear to understand and helpful way.
Well that was one of the most awful experiences as a patient that I've ever had in my life. Waited 2 months to get in to see Dr Aronowitz for her to get mad at me for not being able to raise my arm enough, yell at me, say nothing they can do to really fix it but time and shots and could take 3 yrs before it might get better and she stormed out of the room and didnt tell me the full plan. It is so frustrating to see all of these bad reviews when I know this office is fantastic! I would highly recommend them to anyone. A year ago my son had ACL/meniscus surgery which was performed by Dr. Thompson. From the first appointment with Dr. Thompson, they expedited and searched for the quickest place for an MRI, we found out the results on a Monday and he is in surgery on Wednesday in which the Dr. stayed late and all OR nurses stayed or came in to complete his surgery. I had several people recommend Dr. Benoit to me after xrays at a clinic showed an ankle break on Friday. My files were faxed on Saturday and I was told a scheduler at Northern Light would call me on Monday esp bc my file was marked urgent. When I didn't hear anything Monday morning, I called to learn that my files were not in the review pile. I double checked that they had been sent and they had. I’m sad to have to give a negative review, but I genuinely loved the Dr I saw. After finding out I had a severe injury that I had been trying to get diagnosed for several months at physical therapy, surgery was highly recommended to get me back to normal. I was fully in agreement and had scheduled my appointment for 2 weeks out. All my follow ups had been scheduled, my time was put in for work, my husband took time off his new job where he hadn’t accrued any time.
