If I could give zero stars I would. I had an appointment with Emma Ricciardone about pain in my knee. I twisted it and knew something was wrong. She ordered X-rays and decided I needed a cortisone shot. I do have arthritis, so I went along with it. The pain persisted. I sent a few msgs complaining about the pain and that things didn’t feel right. She told me that she could order a gel shot and if that didn’t work, I’d need a knee replacement. I’m 44 years old. Dr. Ricciardone was excellent with my knee and inflammation situation, and my entire osteoarthritis problem. I was extremely pleased with the time and care she took with me. Extremely professional and thorough.

This physician was a huge disappointment and wasted my time today. She was dismissive, rude, and condescending of my concerns. She failed to investigate my concerns completely. It seems she was only interested in patients who are surgery candidates, which I am not. I’m simply trying to understand what my problem is so I can hopefully prevent it from worsening. When I asked her details about how to read my X-ray, she was unable to do that. She suggested it was an SI joint issue, but didn’t offer to do any X-ray of that part o... read more
