Dr. Shen is a great Dr. who I have been seeing since 2012. Ive never felt rushed by her, she takes time to answer all my questions and she does let me make informed decisions about my healthcare. I’ve always trusted her to help me make the right decisions about me, she doesn’t make me come in to see her if I have a common cold. She gives me refills on all my maintenance medications so I don’t have to bother calling her all the time, she knows that my time is as valuable as hers.
Dr. Shen is an outstanding family doctor who has treated my family for over 10 years. When we have a medical concern, Dr. Shen listens, asks questions and comes up with the right solution every time.
Absolutely will call Mercy Urgent Care ahead of time next time if anyone in my family has to be seen! She is absolutely rude! All she did was talk over me and not listen to me about my symptoms. According to this DOCTOR I had, strep throat possibly. I maybe got a few words in the whole time she was in my presence. Thank goodness I made a appointment with my actual doctor a few days later and come to find out I have Lyme disease...if she would have listen maybe she could have sent me over to lab.
Dr. Shen communicates your health needs effectively and includes you in the decisions. She is very personal and friendly. Very holistic in her approach to you as a human being taking into consideration your physical, emotional and intellectual understanding of your condition. She is awesome.
