Been a patient for 4 years. Staff is always kind, very compassionate. Sometimes they get behind, but once you see Dr. Candice, the wait was worth it. She makes me feel like I am her only patient.
Love, love Dr. Candice & Jason. Unfortunately they have LORI there to chase off patients of 7 years + Family members. Ive waited 2 hours before even seeing the doctor. However if you arent there 15 minutes BEFORE your appointment time, you will have to reschedule. Scheduled appointments have had to be re-scheduled from THE OFFICE causing conflicts (even my appointment was made minimum 30 days in advance - I have to go EVERY MONTH) It happens so often that I get a call with a pre-recorded message to call the office to re-sche... read more

Dr. Homewood has proved to be an excellent primary physician. He provides thoughtful answers to all my questions, ensures I received complete age/gender-appropriate screenings in a timely manner, recommends top-notch specialists when needed, and manages a well-coordinated office experience, from Tiffany at the front desk, to each of the friendly P.A.'s that handle check-in, vaccinations, etc. I highly recommend Homewood Family Medicine for your primary medical needs.
The office was newly renovated and had a very warm and welcoming vibe to it. I read through these reviews and found a lot of unwarranted negativity. Although I appreciate the new flooring and paint, people complaining about the carpet are just fools. The carpet isn't the one diagnosing you, its the doctor lol! So why all the talk about stained carpet? It's the patients that caused the stains in the first place! This is a terrible medical practice. Where to begin? My medications were all changed causing uncomfortable side-effects. I was frequently given medications to "quickly lower" blood pressure which left me dizzy and feeling unfocused. I discovered after starting with this office that my insurance would not cover any treatment related to my pre-existing condition (this was in 2012-2013) and requested to only have the necessary labs and procedures done, as I would need to pay for everything out of pocket. Most of the low scores are for the staff and office manager. They are the most rude and unorganized group I have ever seen. Been seeing Dr Candice and Dr. Jason for 4 yrs, but because of their inept staff I am looking for a new Primary physician.
Dr. Gupton is very thorough. She is proactive in getting to your illness, not just treating symptoms. She takes her time so you do not feel rushed when discussing your health issues. I found her when my former physician didn't have any appointments available and I was going out of town. I am very impressed with Dr. Gupton, her nurses and support staff. I will be seeing her from now on. We are very fortunate to have her in Murray, Kentucky.
Always have too wait over 1 hour on examination room. Appt scheduled for 9:30, called to examination room at 10:20, then waited until 11:30 for doctor. Always!!!
