About this business
All of our menu items are prepared from scratch daily. From cooking our own meats, to mixing our own sauces, to hand grinding our burgers from our special sirloin and chuck mixture. All of our appetizers are made from scratch, they don't come in frozen in a box. We prepare our neapolitan pizza dough daily. Even the french fries are made from scratch. We have expanded from our sandwich lineup to include pizza, fried items, dinner entrees, and a full bar.

Just finished up having another amazing dinner here! The whole family loves the shrimp bacon club sandwich! Please never change it!

Cool place with an excellent staff and a great menu! Everything we have had is very well presented and soooo flavorful! You can tell they have been crafting the dishes very diligently. And you can forget that you are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa while in the Hideaway! If you haven't been here, you are missing out!
We ate here tonight and absolutely loved it. Our server was Madison and she did a great job! I had the Shrimp Bacon Club and my wife had the "Hawkeye" and we thought both were amazing. We will definitely be back. And honestly we can't wait. Good job guys.
My daughter and I went to Emil's for a late dinner last night. The parking lot was packed but we were seated immediately. We usually get the Cuban (it's the best!) but wanted to mix it up. We split the Hideaway Pasta and had the rangoons as well. The food was amazing, our server was a rock star (I think her name was Spencer?) and we just love the ambience of the low lighting. LOVE!
