Constant issues with elevators, water, heat, concierges, and laundry. We had multiple days with none of the elevators working...
We had multiple days with no elevators working, and when we tried to go to the leasing office at the 1 emerson building, the concierge impolitely scowled at us, DO YOU LIVE IN THIS BUILDING? None of the elevators working is totally unacceptable, and elevator issues were reported in reviews of this building as far back as 2015 on apartments.com When we moved in they assured as things were better since 2015, but years later, things are worse...
I’ve lived here close to a year, here are all the pluses and minuses as I see it. Pluses: - apartments are way bigger than comparably priced newer ones. Seriously WAY bigger. You’re getting a good 25% more square footage for your rent. - heat, water, and trash included in rent, more savings - neighborhood is fantastic, close to grocery stores, restaurants, downtown, and transit. You can easily ditch your car here and save hundreds more - staff is *extremely* nice - gym is pretty big for an apartment complex facility, good se... read more
