Chris Ridge is the last place to send your family. Please for the love of God and family don't send them there. My brother was there several times and I thought he was getting the care he needed. I had complained before about not bathing him, shaving him and most important not brushing his teeth. I even put notices on the door of the closet and it did not work. They did shave him brush his teeth like I asked them to do every day.. They have no entertainment for them so they leave the in bed all day and night. The food is col... read more

Moved out about a month ago, one year was all I could take. Chris Ridge had a smell in the halls (all inside) like a dirty bathroom, I always wondered about the kitchen. Management was more about fun and games, than anything that mattered, no real staff at the wheel of this ship. Most requests for maintenance were ignored, even when an overflowing toilet on the third floor made it all the way to the first. It took days to get things cleaned, with most of it being done by residents, not by paid staff. There were many promises... read more

There are better places for your Loved Ones! – Be careful of what you are promised. Because they will promise the moon and not deliver a thing! Poor Care, Cold Food, Dirty Dishes and cups, Tasteless Food, Missed Medications, Missed Showers and the list goes on and on. BEWARE!

Knife fight at seniors' center – Charges were dropped in December in connection with an Aug. 28 knife fight at Emeritus at Vickery Towers, a senior citizens complex in the Lower Greenville area. One man in his 70s suffered a severed thumb and other injuries and another in his 60s was stabbed in his chest. Both were initially charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. An elevator and a hallway were stained red after the bloody attack. Both were released from the Lew Sterrett Criminal Justice Center. The younger of ... read more

UNDER STAFFED! BRUISED MY FATHER! – When I looked for an Assisted Living Facility for my father, I understood that no place was perfect. However, the sales pitch they give you makes you believe that it is a great place, but it turns out it's all lies. And when you confront them, they lie even further. They make you pay a great deal of money for extra care that they don't give. They claim that their staff walk the floor continuously at night checking in on every resident. That couldn't be further from the truth. They have 2 p... read more

Question.. – Would Robin Run allow us to come and build a community garden for fresh veggies and flowers for all? We are looking to do this for someone in the community, just curious if this would be allowed?

Neighborly Friendships – We have lived in Robin Run Village since May of 2008. We moved from a home where we were very happy. We also knew that the day might come when we would be unable to drive. We had to drive for all of our activities, food, shopping and everything. We had looked at various retirement centers and chose Robin Run because it was close to our home and friends, plus it is the only center where you could own your own home. We visited often enough to know the type of people living there, were the kind of peopl... read more
