A cemetery is better than this hospital ! I’m seriously think that this hospital need some investigation or change all the personal because the emergency area is just useless period! Less than a third world hospital service
4+ hours of pain and deeply concerning symptoms. X-rays taken within an hour then… nothing… this is unacceptable. And, judging by the other comments, nothing will be changed. Move along if you can, find another 24h emergency room.
I waited over 8 hours in the ER for an ankle injury. During that time, my symptoms worsened significantly, including numbness, tingling, muscle spasms, heat in my leg, and inability to move my toes. I repeatedly informed staff and requested reassessment, but no re-triage occurred. A nurse later addressed the waiting room in a dismissive manner, telling patients to “be glad you’re waiting because it’s not worse than the person before you,” which felt inappropriate given that symptoms can worsen while waiting. I miss when Kaiser did a good job at handling the ER. Non emergent cases were filtered out and sent to an urgent care setting within the hospital. That was 20 years ago though. They no longer cate about their patients imo.
The waiting room was full, (get your flu shot people), the staff came and updated us on the reason for the wait. After being triaged I waited 2.5 hours to be seen. I had checked and a doctor visit or urgent care was not going to work for my situation (not everyone needs the ED). Once I was seen the team was amazing- my PA Udara and nurse Claudia were fabulous.
