I had to take my husband in and for only having one doctor to see all emergency patients, we felt very taken care of. All nurses were very kind and helpful. They listened to us. It was calm and very clean. We had to stay in the emergency for about a day. We were moved to a room and had the nurse Jeff. He made everyone's day. To see someone that truly loves people and loves his job was amazing.
Only 1 other person in the waiting room on arrival and we still waited 6 hours before seeing a provider for severe epigastric pain and oral intolerance. We mentioned to the nurse that my father had been in pain for 5 hours without getting any meds or fluids and the nurse said “oh that’s nothing, usually it’s 8 hours”. We were stunned at this response. The provider finally rushed in, said my father was fine and left, all of 2 min of interaction with the patient. Zero in-person evaluation.
