My go to Medical Center when I need to be seen ASAP. Usually, there's not a long wait. The doctors and nurses will take very good care of you. McKenzie D is one of my favorite nurses there.
Worst experience ever trying to get my kids medical records. They tried to use Hippa law from blocking me from receiving my children’s medical records. I had to threaten legal action and use a court order to get my own kids’ medical records. They gave the run around and when I finally convinced them through a court order to release the medical records- then they had me drive from out of county to come in person (previously they had said they’d emailed the records.) I don’t know why this clinic doesn’t have.5 stars because they totally deserve them!! I was so under the weather and went in in a Sunday morning I was in treated and out in less than 30 minutes. From the lady at the front seat to the Doctor that was just amazing these guys did a speedy and amazing job at addressing my illness and treating me with the utmost care. I don't live in Gainesville anymore, and I miss not having an urgent care like this near me anymore. They are able to do more than any other UC I've been to. The doctors I saw were great and made me comfortable and taken care.
Dr Collingham's cardiac care plan for me kept me out of the hospital! He is a good listener and seems to really care. The facility does not have emergency department style equipment (e.g. a portable EKG machine rather than continuous monitor). That interfered with assessing my status improvement but I'll accept that compromise for the convenience, the price, and the low wait time. Highly recommend!
