Predatory billing practices and corporate billing abuse. This group (a shell for TEAMHealth) bypassed our commercial insurance network (Anthem) and directly balance-billed us $1,341.00 for a minor toddler toe injury at Overlook Medical Center (an in-network facility). Keep all records of payments made. Was forced to settle twice for the same bill 4 years later because I did not have proof I already settled the account in 2020. In the end I wound up overpaying because I had no proof I paid. KEEP RECEIPTS OF PAYMENTS. JUST AWFUL!!!
Scammers! Beware! Trying to steal money from people who have been to the hospital
No idea who these people are after a day in Chilton Hospital. They want my SSN before I even get to look at my bill. They do not accept emails. They do not sound like a company that should be in business and I have contacted my representative about this.
