My daughter was here twice vomiting non stop for 3 days she was scared to death n ended up with a very cranky nurse who was just plain rude to me as well as my daughter n the thing that really did it was I was not allowed back in the area with her n i must add my daughter was freaking out constantly vomiting yet every other patient was allowed back there with someone except my daughter that nurse was just nasty n we saw her when we arrived going around talking to others n pointing at us I am disgusted with Dartmouth General ... read more
I went to the emergency dept yesterday around 5:30pm and the waiting shows 2 hrs. I already told the nurse that i have a cyst it is difficult for me to sit. She said i will put a note so that they call me soon. But no one called i had a terrible experience. I left around 10:15 pm and still nurse didn’t know how much time it will take. The person might die but no they don’t care. The most unprofessional, worst, terrible, useless emergency section.
The healthcare system is broken. I arrived here by ambulance in the middle of the night with an emergency, and I’m extremely weak I can’t even sit up properly. The chairs are completely uncomfortable for someone in my condition. I’ve been waiting for five hours, and in the morning, they told me there’s no guarantee of being seen for another 12 hours.
