Very poor experience in the Emergency Department. My husband arrived in a serious condition and was never assigned a room; he remained in a hallway the entire time. Despite still being medicated and not truly stable, he was discharged. The care felt impersonal and it was clear that the lack of medical insurance affected the way he was treated. Patient well-being did not seem to be a priority. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking responsible and humane care

I filed a grievance about how my teenage son was handled at the emergency department by the security one of their public safety officers , officer Williams during trying to restrain my son was pulling his hair and put his fist in his eye and I never received any information about my grievance. Well, this time Loyola emergency room was a total disappointment, I was in pain for 2 days , check in at 12:45pm and 10 minutes after they call me in for lab work , urine sample, weight and blood pressure and I was impressed on how fast they started with the tests, but then I've waited 8 full hours and nothing else happened , I ended up living, I was tired , sleepy because I couldn't sleep the night before , hungry and still in pain , then I go home just to receive an email from this place assuring that they told me to wait ... read more
