Never a great reason to go lol. But they are quick and make things easy!
My dad brought me about a week ago. They got me in almost as soon as I walked in the door and were so sweet and kind to me they hooked me up to fluids immediately I was so sick and out of it I could hardly understand what they were saying but still kept their patience. I have never felt so horrid and like I was dying in my life my charts were all over the place and felt like my liver was shutting down due to dehydration. Arrived late in the evening with a very painful broken toe. No wait. One other patient in the area. Doctor on duty was unsympathetic and gave little guidance on how to care for it. "Tape it to the next toe until it feels better." I asked for crutches as I could not put pressure on the foot but she gave no instructions on how to safely maneuver with them. Consequently lost my balance using them injuring my ribs, causing another trip to the er.
If you have a medical emergency and need an ER - Go literally anywhere but here! The staff is lazy and incompetent. My son came to the ER for severe pain in his back and they gave him morphine, said he was constipated and sent him home! Just for me to have to bring him back an hour later because the pain was equally severe once the pain meds wore off! That is not how you care for patients! Figure out the problem and treat it instead of giving pain meds and sending home. This place is a joke and they have no compassion for pe... read more
