The stylists here struggle to give a layered haircut. They fundamentally misunderstand what creates layers, the difference between layering and thinning, that thinning techniques should not be used on thin hair, and how to match the length in front to the length in back. The building is nice but the stylists struggle with fundamentals.
Nicole is the best. PERIOD! I put her up against my long time stylist as I desperately needed some maintenance and didn’t have time to fly to LA. Nicole was the first person to touch my hair in 15 years other than her and she blew it out of the water each time. Now, she’s my hair guru. It was my first time at Emerge today and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Walking in the door I was greeted and offered a beverage of choice while I waited. The salon is open with natural light and plants that fill the space. My stylist was Alexia and I have nothing but amazing things to say.
