I liked it so much I just might make an extended stay
They were very friendly at check in and it was fast and they only had one RV spot left and it was just right for our 30 ft rig. Stayed 2 nights and location was just right to see the forest and you are camping in the redwoods towering above you great shaded area.
We camped in our 5th wheel here for 2 days... We absolutely loved the campground and the surroundings!! It was BEAUTIFUL! It absolutely lived up to its name in every way!! We will be returning again in the future forsure!
Other than the customer no service and Highway 101 being right next to the campsites. Really I will never go there again
We camped in our 6 person tent in the trees and loved the beauty. Our site (#61) was good size; however, some can be a bit smaller. We called ahead to ensure there was room for the four of us plus our big golden Labrador retriever. It is colder than you might expect, so bring layers to wear, even in summer. There is a camp store that carries wood and a few goods. The market about 1/2 mile down from the campsite has more variety of goods. The beaches nearby are beautiful, wild, and not crowded. We would stay here again.
Second time camping there. I love this place! Will be back!
Beautiful trees and setting. We stayed in site 88, a pull through, FHU site. The cabins look adorable. The staff was super nice. Downside is there isn't a walking path to town so we walked on a busy two-lane road. Town and Trinidad Beach was amazing! The lots are dirt so it was a challenge to keep dirt out but not a big deal if you gave a vacuum. The trees made the temp quite a bit cooler than expected but they were pretty. Nice grass area for kids.
Beautiful! Friendly people. Would definitely recommend this place.
