This Saturday, December 7th at 8:30 a.m. the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge will host a flag-raising and Pearl Harbor ceremony presented by the Navarre High School Junior ROTC Class and then the gates will be open to the public for the first time to enjoy this beautiful facility located on almost 3 acres with two buildings, 1 an Education Center and the second a rehab center. Come visit and see animals in their natural habitat and enjoy this wonderful addition to the Navarre community.
I've taken a baby raccoon and a young Pelican to the refuge. I appreciate that someone is willing to care for and release these beautiful animals when they are ready. So glad we have a facility and staff to help with our wildlife. Thank you😊
