RecommendedI am so very thankful to have found Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge ! We are here on vacation in Destin, FL. & we found a baby possum without mother and no other babies in sight. They were quick to lend a helping hand on rehabilitating this little one & for That we are thankful !
We drove from Panama City to take a baby opossum that we rescued from our front yard. We were greeted by sweet employees and volunteers. We were given a lot of information on how they were going to care for the little one we brought in. We want our own rescue liscense, so finding a place that I felt comfortable taking her was important to me. They will make sure an animal is taken care of! I found a turtle with a cracked shell on the road (hit by a car,alive and very mad) called and they said no problem! and brought him in- hoping he makes a full recovery! 🐢

Thought there was more there but paid and was done seeing everything in under 15 minutes, thought we’d see animals that were hurt or injured being taking care of
