RecommendedDr. Haufe is literally the best pain management physician there is! I drive over 3 hours to see him and he is worth every mile! I had really been though the wringer by the time I saw him! Two previous back surgeries with no relief, highly over-medicated from family physician and he really was my last resort! Almost 2 years later, I am virtually pain-free and my life has totally turned around! I no longer take oral opioids or use Fentanyl patches! Discriminates against Disabled people with legitimate Service Animals. Please learn the laws before discriminating against disabled people.
The dr was nice however the communication to the office seems non existent. it’s very hard to get ahold of them. The office never got the authorization forms sent to the pharmacy to fill a prescription for a non formulary so for 3+ weeks I’ve been calling back and forth between the office and the pharmacy and still no paperwork I call and get no answer when I need to cancel an appointment. The staff is very congenial and helpful. Dr. Haufe has a plan developed after only 3 appointments. He has done more for me in a short time than my previous doctor did in 5 years. He is willing to try different approaches and try new things. The thing I really like is that he makes a great effort to work within your health insurance coverage allowances and approved procedures so you are not paying a crazy amount of money for a procedure.
Dr. Haufe has an excellent approach to pain management. His staff is very friendly and professional. I've seen many doctors for my condition, and Dr. Haufe's method of treatment has, by far, surpassed those I've seen before. Thank you Emerald Coast Pain Services!
