I was referred to Dr. A by the GI doctor. I had tried numerous diets, without success. My weight was adversely effecting my health. My consultation with Dr. A was productive and I left feeling hopeful and we had a plan. My surgery was in January and I have already lost weight, feel energized and off some of my medication. Dr A and his team are with you every step of the way on my weight loss journey. Dr.A. Is a kind and caring physician. He is remarkable!!

My experience with Dr Acholonu was fantastic. He gave me a kick in the butt when I needed it and a pat on the back when I deserved it. I loss 140 lbs. in the last two years (from 335 to 195).
So many things I can say about this Dr but most importantly he is thorough and he cares and I trust him with my surgery and care he plays no game and he all about his patients safety and nutrition and please do as he says he knows what he’s talking about

I'm dropping the weight that I struggled with all my life and with dr. As guidance I'm doing it the healthy way!!
I don't have much experience with surgeons, but Dr. Acholonu made my Bariatric process easy. There was minimal post-op pain and he was very communicative throughout recovery. I hope that I don't require his services in the future, but if I do I would absolutely go to him again.
Dr. A helped me change my life forever. I am so grateful! I had the gastric sleeve done with him and every step of the way Dr. A has been great! He will tell you how it is and be honest with you. I’d highly recommend Dr. A if you are looking to change your life as well!
Dr. Emeka Acholonu is the best surgeon I've been in contact with. He is very knowledgeable and skilled in his practice. He saved my life by giving me the bariatric sleeve and I couldn't be more grateful.
