Dr. A is the most amazing doctor I’ve ever met. He’s caring, patient but stern at the same time! I had surgery on 6-5-24 and I’m already down 30 pounds. He is so encouraging and wants everyone to meet their goal weight in a toned manner which I love. Thank you Dr. A!
What can I say that most haven’t already! Dr. A is a very caring physician who cares about his patients and their success in the program. He is straight shooter and wants you to succeed. I feel very lucky to have had him as my surgeon.
Where do I start? Dr. A is the best. Not only did he motivate me from my very first appointment by showing me a little bit of tough love but he opened my eyes to see how much potential I have mentally and physically. On May 24, 2022 , I made the best decision for my health to have surgery with the best Doctor and Surgeon Emeka J Acholonu. My life completely changed my diet, exercise, everything has changed for a new opportunity in my life. I have a lot of energy that I did not have years ago from 190 pounds to now it is 114 pounds and I continue for my health. I encourage you that if you can when one He himself proposes it for our health and I will continue to put more of my process to help motivate other people that it can be done.

Dr. Acholonu is the best doctor I've ever had treat me. He is the epitome of professional and right upon meeting him it is evident that he is good at what he does and truly cares for his patients. That's saying something coming from a marginalized group (obese people) whose medical issues are often dismissed or inadequately treated. Dr. A and his staff are great. They are caring before, during and after the surgery. From making all of my appointments or answering questions I had asap. It was the best decision I made to go to Dr. Acholonu.
Dr. A is very kind, understanding, caring and very thorough when it comes to his care. Regardless of how many times I wanted to quit he was always there to reassure me and keep me on the right track. He is extremely knowledgeable and only wants what's best for his patients. I would definitely recommend him to others, he is an A plus physician.
